The group I knit with went to the Birmingham shops one Saturday and we visited Memory Hagler's store. I love that they have most of the yarn swatched so you can look and see how it works up. The workers were very nice and helpful.

I visited The Hen House in June 2007. The have a HUGH yarn, needle and pattern section. The owner was extremely helpful and showed and helped me with a knitting problem I was having. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

Our knitting group went to Birmingham knit shops one Saturday for a field trip. We all LOVED In the Making. Everyone, including the regulars were extremely helpful. As fas as their selection is concerned, all I can say it WOW!!! I wish I lived closer because I would go all the time. I can't say enough nice things about this place!

We just moved to the area and I have meet two of the workers and the owner. All are extremely nice. They are very helpful if you need help finding anything or have a question. Knit night is now on Tuesdays instead of Thursday.
