I have stopped by the shop several times, only to discover that it was closed even when it was supposed to be open. I will hold my yarn needs in check until I can get to the shop in Catonsville, MD.

I have visited the store several times. I have also found the staff unhelpful and dismissive. Glad to know its not just me, but not so good for a business.

I've only been here twice, the second time being yesterday. Last year, there must've been another person in the shop helping with the crowds of women coming in from the Waterfowl Festival, but this year... this year there was only one person. She was not exactly attentive--or helpful--to the 3 people in the shop (including myself). As I browsed, I listened to the other shoppers asking questions and every time, the answer was a negative response. It also seemed to be an exasperated negative response, as though she was wondering why these people were asking her such silly questions.

The yarn that she carries is good quality, however, I think I have a better (and larger) stock at my house than she has in her shop.

After being in there for about 10 minutes, I told my husband I didn't need to be spending my money to support someone who can't even say "Hello," and we left.

As an annual visitor to the Waterfowl Festival, I'll make sure that I never set foot inside Yarns & Co again. Not worth the time.

(And just a side note, when I lived in the area I would frequent the Yarn Garden in Annapolis. Most of the women that shopped there drove in from Easton and Cambridge simply because they were not happy with Yarns & Co. The fact that they were willing to drive all that way AND pay a toll to shop at a well-managed, well-stocked shop speaks volumes.)
