Really nice, big store with lots of room. Although The Whole Nine Yarns does not supply wifi, you can pick it up in the shop from the neighboring coffee house. Their open "sit and stitch" hours are on Tuesdays from 11AM - 1PM and again from 6PM-9PM.

This is the first LYS I ever visited, and I found it to be a wonderful experience. The employees are always helpful, without making me feel clueless or claustrophobic. The variety of yarn is good, and the displayed projects are inspiring. I’ve taken a class with the owner and found it to be well-organized and very well-taught. My purchased skeins have been wound by either a shop employee or myself on different visits. Other customers are friendly and willing to discuss yarns, projects, and suggestions. I love the overall atmosphere and attitude of this shop.

I took a Lucy Neatby class and visited the store for the first time. Not a huge store but full of really nice yarn. Many stores are full of common yarns but this shop had an exceptional selection including cashmere, camel, buffalo, mohair, alpaca/silk, cottons, and lots of wool. Employees were very knowledgeable and patient. Large classroom with hopeful lineup of well-known teachers. Would definitely recommend.

A really welcoming store with a TON of great yarn. Helpful, patient staff who seem to genuinely be into what they're doing. And they didn't flinch when I brought in my toddler, which frankly earns them my love. (Don't worry folks, she knows not to touch yarn - I trained her!)

The Whole Nine Yarns was one of my first stops when I re-located to Georgia from Louisiana, and I must say, they have become an instant favorite! Beautiful selection of yarns, plenty of seating, WiFi for my husband, the list goes on and on. They just moved into a new location, and everything is better than before !! Check their website for class info and updates on all the "goings on".

I'm starting to knit after a long stretch away and would like to start making a band sort of flopping hat like the one I made for my grandmother who wore it everywhere. It had the band and four or five "diamonds" shaped on the crown. It sort of went to the side kinda floppy from the band. If this is something you think you might have a pattern for, I'd love to purchase a copy. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, I am Marion Carroll, home phone 7068953078 or cell 7066761643. Merry Christmas

Shop lets you wind yarn yourself. Has great selection of yarn-lots of cottons and summer stuff right now. Nice large space and cozy atmosphere.

Still my favorite yarn shop even though I am now living hundreds of miles away!

Amazing selection of high-end yarns: Rowan, Blue Sky, Schaefer, Noro, Louisa Harding, Lorna's Laces, Ozark Handspun, Material Whirled, Sublime...

They also carry some spinning supplies: roving, fiber, drop spindles, carders, and such.

Nice store, nice people, good selection of yarn. Parking can be a bit difficult if there's an event going on in the store.
