I was last at The Knitting Niche in August 2011 on shore vacation but I am new to Knitmap and so I am only posting this review now.
This is a wonderful store. I wandered in only looking for another size needle to complete a project that I had made more progress on than I expected (the usual knitting story) and of course she carried the needles I needed. I was quickly drawn to the yarns - this is a very small location but with great inventory. While I was there a customer wandered in and was helped with a wip giving me time to fall in love with a yarn. The owner helped me think about yardage etc and I was on my way with much more than the needles I needed.
I like this place so much I am considering driving down - out of season - but before doing so I will check the days / hours. This is literally a few blocks off the boardwalk after all! Highly recommended. Doesn't take credit cards.
