Very nice shop with a great selection of yarn. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Needed a "Fiber Fix" and found this by chance on the internet. What a wonderful store ! Just beautiful. Very organized, and well lit. Natural lighting helps so much when choosing colors. I found the staff to be Extremely pleasant and very helpful. They let you browse without interfering but are there if you need assistance. Can't say enough good things about the store. Very nice selection, low end to more extravagant. It was well worth my 45 minute drive and I am so happy to see that they are open evenings. Definitely on the top of my "go to" list.

So I finally got to visit here in early November and again on the last day of their Black Friday Sale and I have to say I am very pleased with a place like this near me. Being a newer knitter (less then 2 years) and a guy it's hard to find places like this so welcoming. Where do I start? let me get the bad out of the way. As a guy who knits I don't like the fact when I go into any craft or specialty shop such as a yarn store and i feel like I'm being watched cause I'm a guy plus I'm not petite either. Now the owner and her daughter did none of this thank god and Amanda, I believe her name is, was so super helpful. but there were 2 or 3 older ladies working that just kept hounding me and following me. I tried to be polite as possible but it's annoying.

now for the Pros - I was overwhelmed by the selection of yarns and colors I just wanted to buy everything. And as I said when it came to being helpful there were no problems there. Easy to find from the street, great parking very clean and modern unlike another place I go to in Allentown who are also nice but the selection is ehh and well its kinda drab. I think each visit I must have spent like 100 bucks but it's worth it and I'm will to spend that kinda money at such a good place.

Visited this shop for the second time today and what is most important to me is customer service. I had a book with me for a blanket and wanted to use a different yarn and different colors. Sue was not only helpful but was friendly, warm and inviting. The store is bright and airy and a pleasure to visit.

A nice addition to our area.

Just got back from a trip to The Knitter's Edge. What a nice little store! My husband was impressed with the repurposing of an old bank, and the selection was rather nice. I haven't been able to find Galway for some time (to finish an old project), and they carry a find selection of it. It seems like they are adding more yarn and have an extensive supply of Plymouth, including their specialty yarns. If I'm in the area, I'll pop in again.

I visited yesterday and I have to say...I have never shopped in a more wonderful yarn store. Light and airy-cozy area to look through books and patterns-or just knit. The staff was attentive-but not obtrusive. Huge selection. I will definitely be frequenting that store.

That said-I hate to see anyone trashing another shop. Knitwitz is a smaller store, with it's own appeal. They carry some different lines I did not see at Knitters Edge-and vica versa.

Hmmm.... as far as I have found her hours are always the same. No problem seeing and as for stock...she is a small business and I could see how would impossible to carry every color availible. Most small yarn shops add a special order charge to special orders...she does not, and I have found Knitwitz will do anything to get you what you want.

I think the selection, lighting, classrooms, service are all excellent. It's about time we knitters have a place to get all our supplies in one-stop-shopping. And the alcove area is so inviting - you just want to sit there all day with your knitting and watch the world go by. And yes, you can get some hand-dyed yarns at Knitwitz - if you can figure out when it's open and can see the colors properly. And don't forget that hope you don't need only 2 or 3 skeins of a yarn that has to be ordered because you end up having to buy half the bag so they don't have to deal with getting rid of it. Not much in stock -

The Knitter's Edge said many more new yarns are coming soon. The young girl said some are artsy, some are not. They do have alot of empty shelves to fill yet so I think they are getting ready to add something. They definitely have more sock yarn than I have ever seen in one place and I scooped the storage vault and there is more new sock yarns in there too!

Dont forget about Knitwitz in Hellertown. She carrys several different handdyed yarns and basic yarn we all need now and then.

This shop is wonderful. It's definately better than Kraemers. Kraemers. after all seems to only be carrying their own yarn. As for Tangled Yarns, they aren't very friendly there. The shop just opened for heavens sake. Give it a chance.

I agree. If you like basic yarn , this is the place for you. if you want unique, maybe not. Ill go back in a month or so and see.

I just visited this Beautiful store for the first time. The space is great. But I must add that I was greatly disappointed with the selection of yarns. Very little in art yarns or anything hand-dyed. Lots of big company yarns (Plymouth, Noro). I saw no felting. Some same people as Kraemers. Its alot like Kraemers only Clean and no kraemer yarn. Too bad. I hope that they plan to expand on the inventory. Too main stream for my tastes.

I usually hit Kraemers or Tangled Yarns (terrible parking, nice store). The parking both lot and street here are wonderful! We drove past last night and the building is so big and light. Fantastic! When does it open????

Congrats to you, Joanne, on your soon to open yarnshop! I went, I saw, I can't wait to shop! Thanks for the preview!
Not even open for business yet, but I'm giving The Knitter's Edge ***** across the board!!! I think it's going to be everything a yarn shop ought to be, plus more!
