I am here in Savannah on vacation and was referred to this wonderful yarn heaven. The choices were incredible. The owner was so nice and helpful. Wish i could buy all the yarn and take it back with me. I will have to bite the bullet and buy some yarn from here. It will be my treat to me.

Visited this store while on vacation earlier this month and fell in love! Bought several new yarns for my stash. The owner was super nice and you could tell she welcomed & appreciated the tourists. There were some chairs and some people sitting & stitching. LOVED the local yarns and made sure to pick up a couple of skeins. A nice variety of yarn types and a large price range. As others have said, yarn is organized by color, which is inspiring. Can't wait to visit Savannah again so that I can stop in this shop again!!

I visited while on a family trip, and was warmly welcomed with lovely English tea and a cookie! Such a treat! This was probably the friendliest LYS I've ever been in. My newbie questions were answered enthusiastically without a hint of condescension. When I asked after local yarns, they actually called the Copper Corgi lady and opened up boxes she had packed for an upcoming fiber show to let me pick! It would have been so easy to say, "No, sorry," but they really went above and beyond the call of duty!

Just visited the shop. I am not used to the yarns sorted by color but that did not stop me from finding some new yarns.
If I couldn't find a fiber that I wanted, all I had to do was ask if they carried it and they showed me where to look.
Can't wait to wind and knit with a local yarn Cooper Corgi in Bloody "ell colorway.
Nice husband seating so he had a comfortable place to sit while I shopped.
Thank you for being a critter free zone.

Oh My Gosh! When I went to savannah, i thought i would find NO yarnstores. But I did find one, a nice, wonderful, AWESOME yarn store called The Frayed Knot! The owner was kind and helped me find what i needed, and even guided me through a pattern that i couldn't get, without trying to be a typical "salesperson." She was just NICE!
When I go to a yarn store, i always see everything ordered by brand, but here I imediatly saw it was ordered by clot, which was diferent and exciting. It was SOOO much easier to find what I wanted. There were choices, so so many of them. She also had local yarns. It was a wonderful experience and I got alot more yarn for my stash :) I can't wait to go back again and again and again next time I come, and the times after. Wonderful place! Next time you go to savannah, i encourage you to step in and look around. It is TOTALLY worth it! <3 LOVE LOVE LOVE! <3

Wow!!! What a pretty and cheery store! As a fiber artist, I love that the yarn is organized by color, and this store has a great contemporary feel...nice change from the "country" vibe you find in so many yarn stores! I appreciate that the staff was willing to jump right in and help me with tricky pattern.
I particularly love that there are fiber arts groups that meet regularly there and welcome new members. Since I am fiber artist working out of my home, this gives me a chance to visit with kindred spirits! As an added plus, there is a bead store attached with a fun and knowledgeable staff!

This shop is wonderful! The staff automatically started to talk to me. The kind lady behind the counter(who i later figured out was the owner!) helped me and found exactly what i needed! They were so helpful and polite. I also admire how the yarn is organized by color. It makes them different. I also went in that Tuesday night and There were many people sitting around knitting and beading. (There is an attached beading store) I also liked how they had local yarns!! There was CopperCorgi,And many others.Next time I go to Savannah,I will be stopping in multiple times(as i did this time!)

This shop carries both yarn & beads. When I stopped in on a Tuesday evening the store was packed with both knitters & beaders. The owner mentioned she has only been open 3 weeks. The store is a bit on the industrial side with cement floors and white wooden shelves that line one side of the store. I didn't like how the yarn was organized by color--if I was looking for a specific weight of yarn for a project I would imagine this would be a little hard to locate--you would almost have to start with the color and then see if the type of yarn is there. She did have some local yarn for sale and also carried roving. I'm not an expert on beads but the inventory seemed to have some nice & unique styles available. They were very friendly when I stopped in and gave me a map of the historic downtown area. I plan to visit again when I'm in Savannah.
