I was on this side of London so I made a detour to visit this shop I'd been wanting to visit since I found out about it. We arrived as the shop was opening.

A lot of items aren't priced and both mine and my mother's attempts to ask for clarification or help finding anything were ignored as the clerks were busy chatting. (I was interested in blocking boards/wires and a new swift, specifically) The selection wasn't bad for the small size of the shop at least.
I finally decided on my purchases (a few balls of yarn and a set of needle tips that were priced higher than most other shops in the London area, but this shop is in the expensive end of town so I did expect a little higher price).
However, I then stood at the counter for a good 10-15 minutes waiting for the clerk to ring me through. She was still busy chatting (not sure if it was another clerk or just a friend), about all sorts of random things (it definitely wasn't a customer asking questions). When she finally turned to ring up my purchases there were no pleasantries or apologies for the wait and not even a have a nice day. Just handed me my change and turned back to her friend. \
Bottom Line: I won't be going back.

Good selection of yarn, some of it I haven't seen elsewhere. Service varies with who's in there, but everyone is pretty nice. Reasonable prices but not cheap.

I enjoyed visiting this little store - great selection and lots of patterns. Some interesting accessories and some hard-to-find items, too. Definatly a place to visit again!

lovely little shop with some interesting things including their own line of designs. And a nice sitting area for those to knit in or to wait in.

gmac2@shaw.ca - I am looking for a used Singer knitting machine Type LK100 for my sister and a friend who already owns one of these knitting machines. If anyone knows of one that is used and would like to sell it please contact me at the above E-mail address. Many Thanks Gail
