Tucked away just off a corner, this store has CHARACTER and CHARM! More than yarn and knitting/crocheting/spinning supplies - they also have finished products. I was greeted warmly just a few steps into the store. I wish I could have stayed longer just to browse and have tea.

This is a great shop and it is worth visiting their new location in Fairfield (I say 'new' but they actually moved to Lillian St a year ago!). In their new location they have installed a little cappuccino bar. They still offer classes but I don't know if they still host a stitch night - I asked about that recently and they said they didn't have one.

I am not yet a spinner/dyer/weaver, just a knitter for now, so when I go into the shop I'm looking for yarn. It would be nice if this store in particular would sell more locally produced yarn. We do have sheep and alpaca and other fiber animals on Vancouver Island, and given how eco-friendly-fanatic the people of this region are, I'm surprised that locally sourced yarn isn't more of a thing. It's true you can buy locally dyed yarn, but it's still fiber that is imported from far-flung places. I would like to see the 100-Mile Diet apply to fiber as well!

I have done a lot of traveling and visited a huge selection of yarn/wool/fibre stores across this great Country. Knotty By Nature is by far the best store for fibre arts. An awesome selection of knitting yarns, local dyers, local spinners, they carry Hand Maiden and Fleece Artist, plus Madeline Tosh and Habu yarns, plus so much more! They also carry a huge selection of rovings for spinning, fibre for weaving, and any other fibre art you could think of. Excellent staff who are excited about the different crafts and will gladly show you anything. A great shop to see what else the fibre world has to offer besides knitting. They also have a monthly socials, where you can come and work on a fibre related activity with the owners/staff or learn something new. Excellent selection of classes with great teachers, books and magazines and of course wool! The customer service is always great! Love this store!

This store has tons of stuff and offers a lot to look at. One of the best places for needle felting supplies in town. Everyone was really wonderful and the atmosphere was very welcoming and lovely. I really liked the finished pieces they had for sale, which I think are commissions, but it made it feel like not just a store to purchase supplies to make things, but a gallery for the finished works as well.

A really neat store. Stuff for spinning, weaving, felting and knitting. Very friendly staff/owners. Smaller selection - but some neat stuff. Love coming here.

This place is so much more than a knitting store!
