Just after you round the lighthouse circle approaching the ocean on Rehoboth Ave, look to your left and you will see the sign--YARN! Ahhh! Kitschy Stitch is packed with yarny goodness and good cheer. You may come to shop, but you will be tempted to stay and stitch a while. I moved to the area a little over a year ago, and I felt at home the first time I walked through the door.

So, whether you are moving to the area, here on vacation, or putting together a coastal yarn crawl, I recommend you put Kitschy Stitch on your "must visit" list. Didn't pack your knitting gear? No worries. KS stocks a nice supply of needles and notions, and staff will cheerfully wind your new yarn for you.

I love the selection in this shop! And the owner is so friendly and helpful. This is my go-to yarn store when I'm staying at the surrounding beaches which is often in the summer and occasional in the off-season. Like someone else said, this is my LYS while at the beach. Minus the crazy parking in the high season, this is an awesome shop to visit.

My dad lives in Rehoboth, so my daugher and I always make Allison's shop a stop on our visits. I save my special projects--those that would cost a fortune if I bought the yarn the patterns recommend--for Allison. She can always find something comparable within my price range, even if she has to order it. Latest find: warm, sofr Poem in lovely shades of blue. The Sit and Knit is open to anyone on Monday mornings and Thursday evenings.

This is a rare place that welcomes all types and ages of knitters with a gorgeous selection and a wonderfully friendly, helpful owner. It's incredibly welcoming and easy to leave with a smile on your face. I don't often have that experience at yarn shops, so this is worth the trip!

I'm in Rehoboth two/three times a year and sometimes run down to the LYS in Bethany Beach which is also wonderful, and I was so thrilled this trip to find a new store opened in Rehoboth! One that doesn't close in the off-season! YAY! I enjoyed myself immensely; I was offered help and took advantage of it when needed but was left alone to feel and read and touch as much as I liked. And of course so very much yarn to see (and buy . . . ) at good prices and great quality! A really super-great experience!

I was on vacation and had to visit some LYS. Kitschy Stitch was the best place I would call my knitting store away form home. The place was in a great location down town Reoboth Beach. and there is a Starbucks right at the beginning of the street, you can grab your drink and do a little knitting all in one.

The Store was set up vary nicely, Personally I wanted to see the sock yarn. and I was not disappointed. I picked up some Alpaca green and off white colors. I'd also had to pick up some Claudia Hand Painted Yarns. It was a tough choice between Choc. Cherry, John B. Circus Dancer and Ocean Depths.

Overall, Allison (Owner) and baby owen (her son) Was vary nice, vary informative about the area on how to park and get around. I would defiantly be back if I was ever in the area.

Nice new yarn shop. The owner and her junior sales clerk (an adorable toddler that will hand you yarn he thinks you should buy) are very friendly and helpful. Selection is moderately sized, but all very good stuff (Cascade 220, alpaca, cashmere, llama, etc) kept in large stock. You will definitely be able to purchase sweater or project quantities in this store. She also has a good selection of tools, needles, etc. For those who are so inclined, there are a number of Namaste bags in stock. All yarn is priced and seems to be reasonably in line with what you would expect to pay at an LYS.

The only real downside to this store is it's location. It is in a busy/touristy area of Rehoboth Beach - driving and parking are annoying. If that doesn't bother you, then it's definitely worth a look-see, or a trip during the off season. The owner mentioned that she expects to offer more classes and activities during the off season, and I for one will be interested to see what she sets up.
