Stock is not priced forcing customers to ASK for pricing on EVERY ITEM. Are the prices arbitrary? I shop for yarn based largely on my budget, but I keep that to myself. I often buy sale yarn. IF they were a bit more friendly in helping at the SALE section like they were when they thought I was buying high end (to me) yarn I might have a better opinion. It's exhausting asking: How much is this yarn?...how much is this yarn?...how much is this yarn? And I could tell that the saleswoman had MUCH better things to knit w/ the other ladies at the table than to go to the computer and look up yet another sale yarn for me.

You also need to know that I've called them a couple times to try to find out what needles they have - sizes, metal vs wood, price etc or their hours. About needle price, I was told, "We NEVER quote prices over the phone." I'm literally equidistant between this store and the one in Delray Bch (that does tell me how much the Knitters Pride Dreamz cost so I could figure out if I can afford em) so, guess who got my business.

I work hard and knitting is my relaxation, my zen - including the shopping I simply do not have time patience or inclination to spend my $ w/ a shop that mistreats me. And of my knitting group, virtually all of us have had the same experiences. I won't shop there again.

Updated review: I visited again, and they seemed to have a better range of yarns. It still felt cramped and none of the yarn had the prices labeled. They haven't updated their social media in a while, so it's nice to see they're still actually open.

Small store stuffed with yarn, which I would rather have than a small store with sparse amounts of yarn. When I visited, there were a lot of nice women seated around the table in the center, which made it feel even more cramped. The yarn selection was alright, a lot of novelty yarns with a fewer higher quality yarns available.

Real tug of war shopping here because there aren't a lot of options in the area. This is what struck me the most: there is a new large sign since last I visited that boldy states they adhere to copyright law and that knitters should not request them to copy a pattern from a book or other source. In protecting designers and their livelihood, I agree with this. So the first thing I did was to ask about a sample project and the sales person ran right back to get me the PHOTOCOPIED pattern, from a book I know well, which is offered free with purchase. When I was not interested in using the same yarn the shop sample was made of, the pattern was snatched from me and I was deserted. When I inquired about another pattern, I was snidely told first (as she looked me top to bottom) how much it would cost to purchase yarn for this project. It was obvious she wasn't interested in spending the two minutes it would take to retrieve this information if I balked at the cost. In fact, I'd already known the cost from personal experience. What took me aback was her presumptuous and offensive remark. To this experience, I would simply have to offer the line from the movie "Pretty Woman" --- "Big mistake. BIG mistake." people. I will never return and I will share my experience with everyone.
