I visited this shop while visiting my sister in Dallas because I needed new sock needles. I can't even begin to tell you how friendly these ladies are! I new exactly what I needed, she got them for me and just started chatting with us. My sister, who is not a knitter, even said they were so nice it made her want to learn! Thank you ladies!! Such customer service and friendliness is so a rare where I live.

With the demise of several other DFW yarn shoppes, Holley's is thriving. They have a wide variety of yarns, a delightful shop, and a helpful and friendly staff.

Stock has expanded and diversified greatly since opening. There's always something new to discover (and I go almost every week).
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and just all-around helpful, prices are good, and the location is very convenient.
Crochet-friendly, and Ravelry-enabled, too!

(For customers with special needs, I have observed that this is a very allergy- and disability-friendly LYS.)

If visiting from out of town, it might be useful to know that there's a truly great independent hamburger place on the corner of the shopping center, called Liberty Burger, and there are several well-known chain-restaurants very close by, including Sonic, Chick-Fil-A, and Starbucks. So it's a really good place to hit around mealtime while yarn-crawling :-)

Wow! Love the store, the location, the wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful. This is a nice, inviting shop. Yarns are mostly by weight, lots of Rowan and Plymouth. Nice selection of books and patterns. Enjoyed my trip and since it's close to work, will have to sneak out for a long lunch there!

This is a very nice "vanilla" yarn shop. There were several very helpful employees and a steady stream of customers on the Saturday I visited. There was a limited inventory of Rowan, Berroco, and Cascade, just nice middle of the road yarn. I walked away with a bag of Rowan Kidsilk Haze but burgundy was the only color that had enough skeins to be useful. I would suggest they add the other weights of Berroco Ultra Alpaca and more accessories. The shop will probably grow but for now looks like it has been open only about a year. Nice place to visit but I probably would not go back if in the area again. Lots of luck! Pam
