Love this shop.

Great selection of yarn and yarn accessories.

Pretty little area for socializing (and maybe do a little knitting too)!

Well worth the drive over from Orlando or Tampa.

I love this store. Don't get there as frequently as I would like (a one hour drive each way for me) but the staff is friendly, welcoming and very generous with their time. Yarn selection is outstanding and not unreasonably priced. Something there for everyone.

I would really recommend if you are in the area that you check this LYS for yourself.

I came here for the first time during the Orange Blossom Yarn Crawl, from the Tampa area. What a great store! An amazing selection of yarns! I need to go back when I'm not on a crawl schedule and spend a couple of hours!

Love this shop...I wish it would have been closer to where I lived in Orlando...Alas, now it would be an even longer drive since I live near Philadelphia! :0) The owners and customers were always warm, friendly, helpful, welcoming and chatty! They even welcomed me with my spinning wheel one Saturday afternoon!

What a great shop!!! I am from New Hampshire and have had a wondeful opportunity to visit many yarn shops throughout the Northeast and Canada. Of course, like all knitters I have my favorite shops where I can always find just what I need or want. I stumbled upon this shop after googling yarn in Winter Haven, FL. What a wonderful experience. I arrived late on Saturday afternoon yet Donna (?) invited me in with a beautiful welcoming smile and encouraged me to look around. She was also very helpful in searching for a specific pattern. A very pleasant young woman was also there -- very enthusiastic in sharing her knitting wth me which I truly appreciated and did look at the web site she recommended. I stopped in again today -- Tuesday ( I am on line very late tonight so this will come up as Wednesday) the shop was full of lovely women of all ages, sitting in a very inviting part of the shop, sharing their projects and interests as they enjoyed their time together. I wanted to stay and particpate but as I am returning to New Hampshire today I knew that if I sat down I would never be packed in time to board my plane so I purchased my yarn and left one of the most intersesting yarn shops I have ever visited. I intend to make this a definite stop on my next trip to Florida. I will certainly keep an eye on their website. For all future visitors -- prepare to stay a while and enjoy!!!!

Blessings on all who enter such a peaceful place!!

I visited Four Purls on 14th June 2011 and was really impressed with everything about this lovely shop.

We were on holiday from England and my husband Keith and I luckily turned up just as Laura returned from a convention. Our welcome couldn't have been friendlier and my husband was well looked after by the other ladies in the shop whilst I browsed for a very happy hour.

I came a way with some lovely yarns to add to my stash with many ideas for my future projects.

Thank you Laura and Aspen and the other ladies there at the time for making us so welcome.

I wished I could have stayed longer for the Tuesday Night Knitting Group session and a look at the lovely things Laura bought back from the convention.

A really nice place, with very helpful ladies. If you get stuck, if you make a mistake and can't figure out how to fix it, or if you just like company while you knit, Four Purls is the place to go. Just drop in and visit.
They'll also help you figure out how much yarn you need, and suggest color combinations.
I got the softest, gentlest baby alpaca yarn ever . . . on sale! It's just like knitting a kitten, it's so delicate and sweet.
The only problem I've encountered is too much irresistable yarn leading to too many late nights working 'just one more repeat of the pattern'!
On second thought, that's not a problem.
It's a blessing, huh?

I found my "home away from home!" Missing the yarn shop up North (yes, I'm a snow bird), my sister and I scouted a couple of yarn shops in Florida and then wandered into Purls. What a joy! Friendly, helpful, cozy and charming. Love the lending library! For a small shop, the selection is great. We'll be regulars all winter!

I love four Purls! The owner Laura can knit with her eyes closed and pretty much teach you anything you want to know about knitting. The classes are great and she's even open on Saturday and Late on one weeknight (which is awesome for the 9-5 knitters). The shop is very cozy and everyone there has a great attitude and personality. She has amazing yarn and everything you would need to start a project or begin knitting or crocheting. It's totally worth the drive to check out! Her selection of yarn is outta this world! she has all the gagets and tools you could ever imagine. It's the one stop shop for knitting that's for sure!! Your missing out if you don't check it out! :)

This shop is wonderful! I have never seen such a selection of yarn in one store ever. And the owner is so enthusiastic! It is well worth a trip even if you are from out of town. Plan on staying for a while, there are always knitters hanging out.

I loved Four Purls everyone was so friendly and helpful. I thought the yarn selection was great and lots of great ideas. It was well worth the trip from Orlando and will be going back soon.

Four Purls is a great shop. The owner, Laura, is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a great selection of yarns to choose from and if you can find what you need, Laura is happy to order it for you.She is always ready to help out with yarn selection or if you need help with a project. There is a very diverse group of knitters and crocheters that hang out there as well. Tuesday night is knit night and it is always a fun time. We didn't have any local LYS nearby, so driving to Tampa or Orlando was a challenge. Four Purls has been a wonderful addition to our town.
