By far one of the best local yarn stores I have shopped at. There is a huge selection very well organized of a wide range of yarns. I love how they carry local designers and the well known brands. The staff is very friendly too.

This was a new shop for me and easily one of my faves on the 2013 Rose City Yarn Crawl! A beautifully organized and spacious store with a very friendly staff. I found exactly the yarn I needed for a project and as I sat comfortably on the floor deciding which color, a staff member sweetly brought me a shopping basket for my 10 skeins and offered to check the computer for more stock. I can't wait to go back!

Visited them recently on the 2011 PDX Knit Crawl! My sister and I visited all twenty stores in two days! OK, love this store, but seriously, the review above me seems like it may have been written by someone with a VESTED interest in seeing this store succeed, and honestly, I think it will!
I really loved walking in here, owners and staff alike were so helpful, and really wanted to give us the full tour, and we took them up on it! I like that they have such a huge selection of yarn, and even carry local team colors so you can knit up something for the sports fan in your family. They had yarns made from everything and from everywhere. On a day they knew they'd be busy they had two registers open and were fully staffed.
I give them my "Most Likely to be Spouse Friendly" award. Considering that they have a prominently placed television, with a comfy couch for knitting and sitting, I can see those who aren't there for the shopping sitting down and watching a game, something that seems within the realm of possibilities, since they actually mentioned having knitting time during game time!

A wonderful, welcoming LYS is FYS! A friendly staff with a wide range of expertise and always happy to help with a problem or help find the best yarn for your project. There is a large turnover of inventory so you can always find something new to drool over - well, near, please not on. They also have a great discount program for regular customers and a wide range of interesting classes. Knit Chats are attended by some of the nicest people in the area. It is well worth the trip to Beaverton. Hope to see you there.
