Friendly staff and awesome selection of lighter weight yarns!

Such a lovely place! Beautiful modern fabrics to inspire sewing and quilting enthusiasts. Fabulous natural fiber yarns for knitting and weaving. I bought a bunch on my recent visit! Friendly staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I make regular trips to Denver from Massachusetts, so I'll be stopping by frequently. Keep up the good work.

A nice store. There correct address is 59 South Broadway, about half a block up from their old address.

Wide array of yarns, some I had not encountered on the east coast where I am from. Helpful staff, friendly, and there was a four legged wonder wandering around the day I was there.

If you are into fabric, particularly quilting, there is a lot of that too.

They are in a large airy/roomy space and they encourage you to take your time, look/touch/feel, and ask questions. Would go there again

fabric and yarn store-more heavy on fabric than yarn. the yarn was of upper crust quality-just wish they had more of it!

Awesome yarns, and the fabrics are amazing. I think the service is exceptional. I bought a lot of yarn one day for a large project and they spent a large amount of time winding it for me, chatting with me the entire time. Very nice store. I recommend it to others.

Small store, but packs punch in product!! I was excited to find a LYS that sells Spud and Chloe's 3 lines of yarn!!

This seemed like it would be lovely and I theoretically fit their target demographic (young yet experienced hip knitter) but I was treated quite coldly despite my enthusiasm. Very disappointing experience, though I left with some seriously dreamy yarn.

Beautiful location! Absolutely delicious yarns - I brought home a skein of Malabrigo sock yarn and several ounces of a pretty merino roving.

I don't agree with the previous comment about children - they gave me no trouble about my daughter, even when she was doing her best to grab stock off the shelves (she didn't do it, but she tried). There was another woman with two kids around 6 years old and the staff went out of their way to be nice to the kids and answer their questions about the swift and ballwinder.

I will be coming back, but with a detailed shopping list and more money!

For a small store, the owner picks her yarns with a lot of TLC. When I first walked in I had my doubts, as there was a bunch of fabric for quilting and I didn't think that I'd find anything of interest in the kniting section.

I was wrong.

The just got in this great new Habu merino & stainless steel yarn that I've been dying to try so I bought the scarf kit. There is a fabulous kid merino from australia that begs to be handled.

Upstairs is dedicated to spinning and I had a lot of fun picking out fiber. The staff greeted me upon entry (very important to me) and even took some roving out to photograph in case I wanted more of the same color. They were friendly without being overbearing. I will definitely be stopping back next time in town.

I love Fancy Tiger. I know it's a small store, but I love the ever-changing selection of goods in the store. They are always very helpful and friendly. I appreciate their ecological choices and the very friendly atmosphere. This is a store that seems to constantly evolve to meet their customers needs. I visit it very often and am never disappointed. Very much for the new crafter/ knitter and more youth-oriented than other knitting stores.

Fancy Tiger is owned by great people who are responsive to the crafting community's needs. Their originally small (but nice) yarn selection has been expanded and they carry a lot of eco yarn. Amazing selection of fiber for such a small store. Classes are held in a dedicated basement space around a large table -- nice to not have classes blocking shoppers. Lots of fun fabrics as well. Originally I was hesitant to visit the store because I thought it would be one of those hip places that give a cold shoulder to the non-hip but that is absolutely not the case. Welcoming to all, including children when I've been there. They are small so can't carry everything but what they carry is choice.

Not a place to go to if you are looking for any one thing in particular, and not very kid friendly either.

I recently visited Denver and went to about 5 yarn stores, and I really enjoyed the Fancy Tiger. It is a small store with a really interesting and unique inventory, lots of stuff I haven't seen anywhere else. Definitely would go back!

I love the Fancy Tiger. It is where I took my first knitting class and where I often go for inspiration. It is a small store, but very hip and indie and fun. Check it out!
