I'm sorry to hear that even with new owners and a new location, this store hasn't changed for the better. The one in Roswell had awful parking and the staff and owner where rude and didn't want to help at all. My knitting friends and I refused to go this store after several visits that were not fun. I was only in the in-town Roswell once once and the person helping was so-so. I have never gone to the new store, which looks much bigger and definitely does not have a parking problem.

First visit here was rather surprising… The variety of yarn is nice, but the staff was less than enthusiastic. The place was busy but the employee wasn’t helping anyone else. She was almost unfriendly though, and she seemed to check on me once or twice while I browsed. When I inquired about a yarn listed on the shop’s website, I was told they didn’t carry it anymore and was directed to the large set of clearance shelves in a back room to check for any leftovers. Patrons also kept to themselves or within their knitting groups. No smiles anywhere to be found here. Everyone can have a bad day, so I tried it again six months later. Second visit here was much more enjoyable. Employees were much friendlier, very helpful, and not as watchful. Glad to see it.

This shop looks great when you first walk through the door, but once you start looking around, it's abysmal. Yeah, there's a lot of yarn, but it trying bring you more options, they've actually limited your choises. Lots of brands, but not many colors to choose from.

The organization is poor too. Whoever decided that sorting by brand was a good idea should be shot. I had to walk all over the store just trying to find the sock yarn.

The employees seemed nice at first, until I asked for help (because I couldn't find anything) They didn't seem to know where anything was either, and seemed to be more in a rush to get me to just pick something and cash out than actually helping me find what I would be most happy with.

Overall, the store seems to only favor you if you're already a regular, but you've got to put up with a lot to get there, and frankly, it's not worth my time.

I live within walking distance of the old location and less than a 5 min drive to their new one. Either way I would never consider shopping here ever again. It only took a couple of visits for me to realize this is not a friendly place. Took one of their group classes. Uggghhh.... cranky, gossipy, rude, group of miserable women complaining about their lives....Yikes! Needless to say I got NOTHING out of the class. Total waste of my time and money. Drive a bit further and go to Woodstock! Well worth the drive and the classes... Fantastic in every way!

I disagree. I've never gotten good service at this shop. I thought it would be better with the new owner but a few of the same old grumpy employees remain. Lots of yarn but I'd rather spend my dough somewhere nice. sorry but it's true.

this is my favorite shop in atlanta. it's far from me but well worth the drive - best selection in town and very friendly staff always patient with my questions. i could spend hours here just looking around!

I've wanted to like this shop. I really have. The selection is nice and includes some things I have not found elsewhere, but the service is bad. It all feels very snobbish. Unless the staff knows you already, good luck getting help. I've tried several times and have always been interrupted or just ignored.

I've seen the staff ignore other people as well. Not my idea of an enjoyable experience.

Even on the phone they are rude. How much trouble is it to tell me if you have a particular size knitting needle in stock?

wow, reading some of these comments I wonder what store they were visiting....It couldn't be MY local yarn store...! I can only speak for myself and my friends that shop there all the time....staff is ALWAYS knowledgeable, friendly and what a great selection....well organized and lots of eye candy. Since the takeover of new owner, I have not ever ever met anyone unkind or rude or uninterested in my business...! I have even walked in with yarn and a project from long ago and they spent a lot of time just helping me find a pattern....not a big cash sale....That really sold me on the new owner....they cared despite making a big sale...

Good needlepoint selection but the yarn is literally out of control. No organization that I can see and, the lady at the register is downright nasty.

I thought this was a good shop. They had good selection of Malbrigo which I love. Worth a visit if your in the area.

I've only been once (it was during the remodel), and they were super helpful and friendly. They also had a wide variety of yarns. I haven't been back, just because it is not close to where I live.

i've gone here for years, I felt the new staff has been more friendly then some of my past experiences. When they first opened with the new owners I came in looking for some very specific fun fur colors to make some huggable hedgehogs (felted, cute toys) and they really went out of their way to help me find colors that worked.

I've been a customer since 2006, not frequent though, given my distance. I keep going back hoping that the sad feeling I get when I leave is just me, but I don't think it is. Sorry to say this, but I think the staff needs to learn some customer service skills...maybe even some basic social skills.

The people who work here are incredibly rude to you unless they smell money. That pretty much sums it up.

Just finished the Shop Hop. This shop is in a very nice area. They are trying to do too much at one time. I felt like an annoyance. There were boxes blocking the entrance both inside and outside the door. You can barely walk through the rooms they are so crammed with merchandise. When I asked a question about the yarn I was purchasing the cashier who never smiled just said I don't know. Another lady heard her and was nice enough to find out the answer. Won't be back
