I posted a message on Ravelry to find out about this shop. I was told the owner has moved to Florida so this shop will not be reopening in this area anytime soon.

As of July 21, 2012, this location has moved and says they will re-open in the future in a new location. They said to check their website for the new location. As of today, nothing has changed on their website. I am hoping they will be a Stitches West in February 2013, so I can find out more about where they are now located.

The only time I have seen the store full of boxes is when there is a shipment or they are leaving or returning from a trade show. Nice selection, they are helpful if you ask for help otherwise they let you wander on your own.

I found the shop to be friendly. Adele is very knowledgeable and I found her to be friendly. An interesting shop with a lot of hand dyed yarns. Adele is frequently at shows, and I have met her there as well. I NEVER smelled smoke in her shop, nor on the yarns. My husband is very sensitive to smokers and was with me on multiple occasions and nver smelled even the hint of cigarettes.
I LOVE the Shaefer yarns and bought my first ones there. I don't find myself in CV very often, but always stopwhen I am in the area.

I have trouble with the yarn and store smelling like cigarette smoke.

The owner is quite well known among the true knitting community and the boxes were surely either her getting ready for, or coming back from, a convention. She is constantly being sent new yarns from the yarn makers asking her to create patterns for them.
Not sure that I would WANT to be in a store w/ employees falling all over me. Half the fun of going to a yarn store is just walking around and looking at all the neat stuff! Which this store has alot of. I was told by Shaefer that Adela's is the only store in the US to carry many of her colors!
Prices are reasonable. The owner is very knowledgeable. I don't know why they think it's dark...it is very well lit with both natural and flourescent lighting. They did move the store a few doors away but still in the same shopping center. YOu should definitely check it out!

If you love Schaefer Yarn, this is the shop to visit. They have very large selection.

I was expecting much more from this store even though I had heard some not-so-great reviews. The organization of this store was horrid, there were boxes everywhere, and the employees kept to themselves from the moment I walked in the door. When I tried to ask them about finding a specific yarn, I was snapped at. Needless to say, I will not be returning there.

If you've not been there before, call to find them within the shopping village . . . wonderful hand dyed yarns, great shop.
