Listing and store website should be modified. While this may still be a workshop and meeting place for knitters, the stock was so limited (only two kinds of yarn, with a total of perhaps thirty skeins) that it can't be considered a store. The owner explained that the shortage was due to her having broken her wrist -- the connection still isn't entirely clear to me.

We were only in Baltimore for 24 hours. I was really looking forward to visiting this shop since they advertise German yarn. Their web site posts hours of 10-7 Wed-Sun. However, after a great deal of effort finding and getting to the shop we find it closed at 11:45 am. A phone call advised that they opened at noon. Sorry, I cannot give a good recommendation on a shop that not either not keep advertised hours or does not update their web site.

This is a great shop. Everyone there is helpful and its friendly and very cozy. They are helpful with anything that is related to yarn.

I love this shop - my absolute favorite. This is where I learned to knit. It is a tiny shop, but selection, knowledge and service are excellent.

Lorraine is truly a wonderful lady, I've visited several times. Yes, the shop is very small...I just hope that one day she'll have a bigger shop. I love that she carries the Blue Heron Yarn line.

This store is teeny tiny, so there is not much to choose from. What they do have is fabulous, though.
