My visit here was so-so. One of the ladies was extremely polite and helpful when I asked her a direct question and the yarns are beautiful. However, for most of my visit I was ignored or downright glared out (especially when I ventured too close to the classrooms; hey I was just curious!). Will I go back? More than likely. Will I go back b/c this store stocks something I really really can't live without (and can't get online) and have to have it right then? That would probably be my main reason.

I went to DC to visit a friend. While there, I heard so much about "A Tangled Skein" that I had to visit. I'm so glad I did! I loved the store! The atmosphere was wonderful, the selection is outstanding, and the people are just so nice...I spent wayyyy over budget because I was just enjoying myself. I highly recommend this store if you are in the neighborhood.

When I lived in GA, I would drive 3 hours to this yarn store because they have the best selection, nice staff and a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. Now that I live in Florida, I'm amazed how much I miss that store! I can't wait for Stitches South, so I can get a yarn crawl going that way!
