This is a great store- large selection. Clerk- who I think is the owner -was extremely helpful, worked with me and other customers without effort and managed to help me find what I had been looking for at multiple shops and I left with a purchase that I was really excited about, couldn't wait to start knitting! I will go back.

I am late leaving this comment but, we visited this place back in Oct. 2010. Great atmosphere, lots of help without being pushy and a wonderful selection! On top of it, we could get a latte as we were browsing. We will definitely be back!!

Staff- I think owner was very friendly and helpful. Selection was OK- had some interesting samples but, just not what I think of as a cozy LYS. She did have many basket making supplies in addition to the yarn.

I have been to many a yarn shop and I have to say this is one of if not the most pleasant one of all! Monica greated me- asked my name and introduced herself and then throughout our conversation she referred to me by name. She showed me all types of fibers, was informative and attentive without hovering or pushy. Cathy, the owner was delightful and involved. there were several people in the store, calls coming in and they managed to pleasantly help all one at a time. All the while encouraging, smiling and making my visit a very plesant experience. I bought 2 of the most lovely yarns- unique to the shop and hope to be back in Manahattan Beach again sometime in the future to experience this place again! All knitters within an hour or 2 of this place are truely lucky. Those of us who happen upon it while in the area- what can I say- I must have done something good!
