The Yellow Sweater has moved down Main Street to No. 216, between the Italian restaurant and Cimmaron Rose antique store. The new place is much bigger, and Amy has already added more yarn. She will reopen on Dec. 30 and have a Grand Opening/ROC Day Celebration on Jan. 2. Everyone should stop by and see the new store!
Her hours are Wed. - Sat. 10 - 6 and Sun. 12 - 5.
Sat. night is Stitch & Bitch from 6 - 9.
Lessons are on an individual basis. (What you need and when you are free.) $15/lesson or 4 for $48. Also Sat. afternoons may have classes if there is enough interest in a specific area. (Such as socks or lace.)
This is a wonderful, comfortable knitting/crocheting/tatting/etc. community.

I tried this store as I was new to knitting and looking for a community to join. I had a very cold, unpleasant experience in the store. I was ignored, pushed out of the way by a "regular" customer, and only checked out after waiting behind someone carrying on a conversation with the cashier for 10 min. Then the cashier had the attitude that I was an inconvenience to be gotten rid of as quickly as possible. Thank God I kept looking for a knitting store and did not just give up after this bad experience. I would only go here if my regular store did not have something I really wanted, and could not special order it.
