I can best describe this store as "organized disarray". Good luck looking for a book or pattern - there are a zillion of them spread all over the store in, what seems like, no apparent order. The selection is large, although the sock selection (my favorite) was poor. The staff, however, was extremely helpful. The lighting is dim, so colors are difficult to discern. I'll stop by their new location next time I'm in Indy, and hope for improvement.
We were greeted warmly in this lovely, organized store. We were immediately offered scones, and fresh coffee was brewing. The staff was attentive without being annoying. I found the selections abundant. I will definitely visit this store every time I'm in Indy.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite yarn places to visit. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful without being overbearing. The selections continue to improve.
Absolutely wonderful store, with extremely knowledgeable and informed owners. Their huge inventory includes some yarns not carried elsewhere. The knitting area is cozy, comfortable, well lit, and I enjoyed meeting interesting people there. I drove 200 miles to this store, and its definitely a repeater for me!!!
Beautiful store set on an alpaca ranch. Lovely sculpture garden. Nice selection of brand names and locally spun fiber. Spinning and felting are also done here.
Some friends and I drove almost 100 miles to visit this store, and found it very disappointing. Although the staff was nice, we found nothing out of the ordinary. I'm sad to say it was not worth the trip; but we had a very nice lunch at Tea-Licious.
Wonderful people gather here to knit. Small but comfy seating area in main store plus classroom.
Oooooooooooohhhhhhhh! Is this a lovely store or what? My knitting friends and I all gasped when we entered into this old house with yarn stacked up to the top of the very high ceilings. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting. The yarn offerings are varied and plentiful and the book/pattern selection was fabulous...and they only opened in October 2008. Although we live about 60 miles away, this will become one of our favorite yarn haunts. The store is run by a darling young couple and her parents. Well worth the trip.
