I've had the unfortunate experience of being treated poorly at several yarn stores, because I didn't look like I would spend hundreds of dollars. But at Knit-- they were so friendly, and knowledgable! The selection and atmosphere were great!
What an awful place! Not only is the selection pretty limited (All the needles and notions they offer could easily be bought at any chain store-- no "nicer" needles at all), but the staff is just plain snotty. I won't be trotting over there again soon!

I was a bit put off by the name, and the sign in the yard-- it made me think that it was a cross stitch store. But when I went it, I was pleasantly surprised. The selection was good, prices weren't bad, and the lady seemed pretty nice!
I had a lovely visit here when I was passing through town-- folks were friendly, the selection was nice. The staff was even friendly to my husband, who was patiently waiting for me!
This is one of my favorite yarn stores... I can picture myself whiling away hours at a time (if I ever had that much time) sitting and knitting and talking. The staff is so friendly and helpful! And the yarn selection is great! (Though it can get pretty cramped in there-- HYS has more yarn than space-- not that I'm complaining!) Besides, it's in a cute little town, worth hanging out in for a while!
This is my home knitting shop-- it's wonderful. Not only are the yarns great, but the staff is really great. I love going in and getting a cup of coffee, playing with the yarns, and sometimes working as they also have wifi. It's a nice place to spend a few hours!

Worth the trip! It's a great place!
