My favorite LYS for sure. One of the smaller stores in town without the space for a mind-boggling selection, but the space is well used, with carefully selected, beautiful natural fiber yarns. Wonderful natural light throughout. Far and away the friendliest, most welcoming, most helpful vibe I've found in any yarn store -- maybe in any store ever.

Delightful place! The proprietor is warm and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and they have some really nice yarns that I've never seen before, even in stores four times the size. Also heavy emphasis on local yarns, including a collection spun from the shop owner's own sheep.

Happy Knits is truly the best of everything. Huge selection of wonderful yarn at great prices, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff, bright and well organized sales space, cozy knitting space. Truly, there is not a single thing about this place that fails to make me happy.
