I visited this store this week when I was in Toronto and I loved it. The lady who served me was helpful and interested in having my business. The yarn selection is terrific, especially if you're looking for something out of the ordinary. I like that there is a number of non-mainstream Canadian yarns.
The only put-off was the difficulty finding parking in the neighbourhood - even on a Monday morning the street parking as well as the municipal lots were all full. One of the reasons we don't live in Toronto any more :-)

Only had about 1/2 hour to spend here on this first visit, so I probably missed a whole bunch of interesting things. A little bit of over-load, but when I go back (not if!) I'll have a list of things I'm specifically looking for. The angora-silk yarn I bought is beautiful and very well priced, I thought. I've been fondling it ever since I got it home :-)

I was delighted by the happy energy in the store when I visited. Knitters working on projects, getting advice and winding yarns...what more is a yarn store about? I loved the interesting variety of yarns, the charming offers of help and welcome, and the assurance that they would be going online over the summer so even if I wasn't back visiting in Montreal any time soon, I could still see what yummy stuff they were selling.
I'd love to visit again!

I loved the selection and the prices. Had a lovely conversation with the proprietor about what was "hot" in Montreal right now.
