Gerhild has been so helpful with me! Great selection ! She has taught me more knitting techniques! Very calm and patient teacher the only complaint is that I have a hard time following patterns and for now I need a pattern that is word for word until I get more experience. Great store!

I never had a problem with lack of help from this store. I was greeted and helped immediately. I signed up for a hat and mitten class with Joe. Very nice teacher and I love the Cottage Creation Books! I would of purchased more of their Cottage Creation books but they had only one sock book. Didn't like the book selection a little trendy. I tend to like the classic styles and easy to read patterns. If I am going to spend my time knitting something I want to be able to wear it for years! Also they is a great little nail shop next door if you would like a total girl day. The owner Jessica is even a knitter herself! Loved the staff Bev and Joe thanks for making me feel welcome!

I don't know when they moved into the new location but I found the store a little disorganized. I had to wiggle around boxes. Also had a difficult time finding the books which were located in a corner behind the front door. I was in to buy some needles and found there selection very low. I was very dissapointed in the new location and miss old location of the wee store in the back filled with yarns. I found the new location really lacked the "homey" atmosphere.

Nice little yarn shop. Worth the drive. My husband and I were getting cabin fever and decided to go for a drive. Great selection and very helpful! If you looking for a bit to eat the Griffon across the street has great homemade soups and panini sandwiches!

When visiting Charleston I always have to stop into Knit and see what is new. Love the location, next to the Wentworth Street Parking garage! I also love the welcoming feel to the store with the overstuffed couches and love seats, sheep motiff and warm southern charm. They were very busy when I came for a visit this time and only had one staff member, but I found they have a great selection in sock yarns, books, but lacked a little in the needle department. Overall a great store to visit when you are in this lovely town!

Great new little shop! Has a nice selection of books and high quality yarns.
I was greeted by friendly staff that was very helpful! Large selection of the Cottage Creation Books. Can't wait to come to their spinning group!
Great website that is very helpful, excellent newsletter that is emailed to customers monthly and a great little blog.
Even though this store is a little small it's worth the drive to this cute little town and she what they have to offer!

Great little yarn shop ! I was surprised to find such a cute little shop in this small town!
This is the first yarn shop that I had found great seating selection! Most shops tend to skimp in comfortable seating, and having a nice seating for classes in their stores, but this little shop has won the lottery as far as I am concerned!
I had a warm southern welcome by these two sisters and they were ever hosptiable to me by also asking me if I wanted something to drink, also showing me some of the latest yarns and trends. I am going back again today. As far as I am concerned they do lack a little in the stock department but it is well worth the visit!

My husband and I had a little cabin fever and we decided to go for a drive.
This was such a wonderful experience!
Debbie McDermott's selection of her yarn made from her mill/ Shepherd's Wool is exquisite and reasonably priced, and comes in all sorts of yummy colors! She and her husband gave us a tour of the farm including their sheep and mill! A great way to buy local and american made!
Note you should call Debbie before visiting in the winter the driveway can be a little tricky and you probably need a 4wd. I can't wait to visit the farm this summer, should be beautiful!
