Absolutely fabulous selection of everything you could possibly need for knitting! I'm not kidding - need bamboo addi's? They have them. Want a pattern in italian? They have them. Want a unique, hand-dyed lace weight yarn for a beautiful shawl? It's there. I can't think of a yarn store with a wider variety of yarn that runs the gamut from affordable to the extravagant.

I just came back from a visit to San Francisco and stopped by this store. This was easily, my favorite place in Berkley! They have a lovely and eclectic yarn mix that's got a good sampling of the newest innovations in yarn. For example, they had paca peds in stock, which is a machine washable wool-alpaca blend. I haven't seen this yarn in any of my LYS here in Columbus, Ohio. The staff was friendly, and their book selection in knit and crochet patterns had a good variety. It's really a fantastic fabric store, but it's a great yarn store as well.

We were wandering around downtown St. Joseph and found this store. Loved it! Everyone was very friendly and pleasant to chat with. There was something for everyone in the store, from delicious fibers to my favorite new sock blend, Cascade's Heritage Silk. I look forward to stopping by in the future!
