I visited this store on my trip to Atlanta this weekend. I had read all the reviews, good and bad, and since it was so close to my my hotel I thought I'd give it a go.

Initially, I was a little put off by the building it was in. looked like an old motel, but once inside found the lady working there to be quite friendly. The selection was pretty good, found Malabrigo, TOFUtsies, Noro, Debbie Bliss.

There were ALOT of novelty yarns..fun fur, ribbon, etc. Not anything I ever purchase but I'm sure there is a market for it.

My only disappointment was a small selection of anything OTHER than yarn. I was hoping for notions, needles, bags and there were only a few. Those that they DID have were tucked behind the register where I couldn't get to them without asking for help.

All in all, I picked up a ball of TOFUtsies and enjoyed my visit.

This is the closest knit shop to where my daughter lives so I stopped in on a recent visit. The selection is good but the ladies there seemed very cliquey. I browsed for a good 10-15 minutes...no one spoke to me although there were a bunch sitting at the table. I couldn't tell who the owner or employee was. I would have liked to get some advice on a particular project I was buying for but I was very uncomfortable. Finally I just picked something I thought would work and bought it. They were not at all friendly and as a visitor would have liked a bit of conversation.

I have often encouraged my daughter (early 20s) to try visiting there to practice her knitting and meet new people but after having my visit am not surprised that she resisted the suggestion.
