I like to go here when I'm in Tampa, but I've only been a few times. The staff was great with helping me pick out yarn for a scarf, so I haven't had the issues described above.

I love the varieties of the off-the-beaten-path yarns. I also like the idea that everything in there is a natural fiber. This is my yarn store of choice when I am travelling.

This is the place to go if you need, say, two skeins of bright fluffy orange alpaca - they have a little (or a lot) of everything. As a hanging out place, there's always a few people at the table but they tend to kind of ignore you when you walk in. It's also kind of cramped, but that's the price of having such a diverse selection. The staff, however, have always been helpful to me.
