This was an unexpected find and what a delight. Travelling with an 8 year old girl is a challenge in many yarn stores, but Erica welcomed us with open arms and we luxuriated in the selection of yarns, lots of which I had only read about. Incidentally my little companion is quite the knitter

Sorry to have disturbed you while chatting to your co workers. I had a fledgling knitter with me and the staff scared the heck out of her, then we went to another store in the city and she saw that not all knitting stores have aloof staff, will not be back, even though they have the most amazing button selection

great selection and nice store, but lacking in "personality" The staff give you the feeling that you are not part of the group

update on my comment from November. I did revisit and have a great experience, nice ladies, great selection and wonderful recommendations, I will return
I have returned several times and had wonderful experiences.
After several attempts to support my local yarn shop, I shall not return. I have spent a considerable amount of money in this store and find it to be unfriendly, verging on unpleasant. These women have a limited grasp of customer service. Most disappointing. If you are in the area, make the trek to Littleton to Yarn Garden, fantastic yarns and superlative service.

What a fantastic store. i live about 40 miles away and this is my yarn store of choice. Friendly, helpful and fun. Yarn displays are enticing and selection is amazing. Well curated.

3 visits in a one week vacation period, reasonable customer service, offered to wind yarn, not the greatest job, but adequate. I found it to be an acceptable experience, I purchased yarn once and then came back twice for needles. I will go back on my next trip to Chapel Hill.
Visited this store while on vacation, excellent service. Store was busy, but the lady still offered to wind my yarn, I paid for it and left it there so it could be wound when it was not so busy. Charming.
