I bought a lot of this sparkly yarn from Knit! to make 2 clapotis for my bridesmaids. When I purchased all of it, the owner gave me a free copy of the latest Interwearve. Marnie, she's the best and super-friendly.

For the most part, Eat Sleep Knit (ESK) sells yarns primarily on-line but they've recently added in-store shopping ours for us lucky Atlantians. ESK probably has the largest selection of hand-dyed yarns in Atlanta or even perhaps the Southeast? Because ESK sells most of their yarn on-line it means that there's a high probability that they'll have almost every colorway in the yarn bases they carry, such as 125+ colorways of Malabrigo Worsted. You'll be hard pressed to find that type of selection at any other LYS in Atlanta!

Another perk of shopping at ESK is being able to participate in their frequent buyer programs such as the Yarnathon and the Yarn Lotto Tickets you get with each purchase. I'm a fan to say the least.

Knitch used to be my favorite LYS in Atlanta. They had a gorgeous selection of yarns and they have an eye for picking the prettier colorways. However, I'm not such a fan anymore. The last time I went into Knitch (now at their new location) the yarn selection was just meh. What happened to the wide assortment of Noro, Cascade, and sock yarn? They still have nice yarns, and probably the widest assortment of more high end fibers (i.e. silk, cashmere, etc) but those types of fibers are a bit too expensive for me.

I really really like this LYS. Just wish they were closer to Atlanta. I've made it out a few times, mostly for the yearly shop hop and I've always been impressed with the selection of yarns and the niceness of the staff.
