about The Yarn Patch on Fri Jul 02 11:54:34 +0000 2010
I visit yarn shops whenever I travel and have been to some that are amazing. Yarn Patch remains my favorite. The selection is huge and they have perfect gifts for fiber folks. The best part it is the staff. They are friendly, extremely helpful and they listen to you.

This shop just opened about 2 weeks ago. I felt welcome and it's a comfortable place to just sit and knit. The shop owner is very excited. She's friendly, interested in customer's projects, and very willing to help with issues. Admittedly, she's working to build inventory. I found the shop had a lovely selection and the variety I was looking for. I'm thrilled to have a yarn store in Lenoir City!

This shop does have "TONS" of yarn now. The variety is amazing. The yarn is displayed beautifully and the woman running the shop is delightful. She was helpful and interested in my project while she helped a new knitter start a baby blanket for her grandbaby. I loved this shop!

The shop has moved. It is bigger and better with more yarn and more places to sit, relax, chat and knit. Parking is convenient and the shop is much easier to get in and out of, no stairs and parking at the door.

I visited this shop while on a trip to Florida. It was a delightful experience. Of the 3 shops I visited in the Orlando area, this was by far my favorite. The other shops were larger with a nice selection, but I was undoubtly ignored. In Knit!'s, I was warmly welcomed and felt appreciated. I even went back out to the car to get my project bag. Marnie is charming!

I visited this shop on a trip to Florida. They have a nice selection of yarn, with lots of novelty yarns, and needlepoint supplies. The staff was friendly and greeted me, answered my questions and chatted, but weren't overwhelming. I liked that. I was pleased to see some college students and the staff seemed to be open to suggestions from them. I enjoyed my visit and would stop by again.

I truly enjoyed visiting this shop. It has a unique selection of yarn and as noted, an amazing selection of vintage magazines and patterns. The owner, I assume, was delightful. This shop has a unique, eccentric flavor that I adored!
