WildFibre is in an enchanting Savannah neighborhood of bookstores, parks, boutiques and eateries. Lots of places to park your non-knitting companion while you shop. I scored some lovely yarn which I had never seen before. I showed up at Tuesday knit night, and everyone was very friendly. I will come back whenever I am in Savannah

This knit shop is worth a detour. It has the biggest selection of books that I have ever seen, and an incredible array of yarns. I particularly liked that they seemed to have the old standards - Cascade 220 in every color made - and loads of exciting new imports. Friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable area to sit and swatch. You have to look for it. Despite its address on busy Franklin Road, Bliss Yarns is tucked away at the far end of a fairly anonymous strip mall, at the edge of the huge office park of Maryland Farms. Very nice restaurant next door, perfect for a lunch outing.
