I am FurrywithRuffles on Ravelry and a moderator for the Western Australian group. Been a knitter for more years than I care to remember. I also crochet and have made fully-jointed mohair teddy bears and done cross-stitch in a past life. Evil friends have introduced me to spinning. I enjoy cycling with DH (aka BikeBoy) and messing with my furkidz, Oskar and Lucy.
I also love watching Dr Who, True Blood, Bones, Being Human and the CSI/NCIS genre on tele as well as The Python, Catherine Tate, Graham Norton, Armstrong & Miller, etc, etc...

Good selection of popular yarns brand such as Patons and Cleckheaton as well as some others such as Filatura di Crosa, Naturally, Lang, etc but Crossways also stocks fabric and notions and the shop is traditionally very crowded. Good selection of needles - straights and ciculars - you can generally find something to fit the bill if you need a particular size now. Patterns and books are available. Patterns in folders to flick through and select.
Dressmaking patterns are also stocked.
The ladies are very helpful and know their stuff generally but they don't have a good on-line prescence and as a result, the website is very poor.
