The store is small but has a really nice selection of yarns. The prices aren't outrageous, and the owner is very nice and very helpful. I go here almost every time I have a yarn or needle need.

They didn't have much in the way of selection last time I was there. It seemed to be more of a random stuff store that happened to have some yarns. Maybe I just caught it on an off day, but the prices for some of the yarns seemed kind of crazy, but they were also yarns I wasn't familiar with, so if the kind of prices i saw were normal, I wasn't aware. I'll probably go here again sometime, but I tend to favor another store in the area.

I went here for the first time today, and I was really overwhelmed. The store doesn;t seem to have a definite organization to it. I had to ask where to find everything I wanted to look at.

They stocked lots of yarns I have never heard of, which is fine, but due to that fact, I hated not having prices ON the yarns. Trying to look up prices, keep the yarn away from the baby, and see how much money I had was too difficult to bother with. I wound up just taking everything I liked to the register.

The staff was nice, but I feel like much of their product is overpriced. A good example of this is that across town I can get an Addi turbo lace needle for about $14 at another yarn shop, in this shop Addi's were at least $20 each, and a set of clover dpns (you know, the kind you can buy at hobby lobby?) were $16 a set. Way too high for me.

So I didn't buy any needles, and I wouldn't, unless I absolutely needed that needle right now and neither of the other 2 yarn shops in town had any.

I did buy 2 skeins of yarn, and I am happy with those, but having not known the price prior to going to checkout kept me from buying the third, at a whopping $35 for 100g of sock yarn.

SO I guess what I'm saying is, its a nice store and all, but its a but confusing to navigate, and the prices are too high for my liking. I will likely be going across town for my yarn purchases, and unless I can't find what I need, I will probably not shop here anymore.
