Going to Heritage Spinning and Weaving is probably the best knitting store experience I've had. They have a wonderful staff, and a superb collection.
Did I mention the room full of sock yarn?

This is a wonderful store in downtown Royal Oak. They have friendly staff, a large selection of yarn, and more variety of needles than I've seen anywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
My only complaint is that they are not open on Sundays, when I usually get a chance to go LYS hopping.

Decent yarn store for a tourist town. Good selection of needles, and many different yarns. Some books and loose patters. They also carry some finished goods and gifts. If you are in town, it's definetly worth checking out.
