About Spinandknit2
I learned to knit as a Brownie Guide, re-discovered the craft in the eighties and have been knitting on and off since. I also taught myself to spin some time in the eighties and joined a local spinning Guild in the late nineties.
I enjoy demonstrating spinning at local venues, find it hard to resist buying beautiful yarn and am trying hard to make space in my stash.

The only yarn shop in Winchester, the small knitting section is tucked away upstairs. The selection of yarns is basic. I was looking for skinny yarn just before Christmas and there was no sign of any. The assistants were helpful and as friendly as they had time to be on a December Saturday.

A little gem of a LYS! I'm surprised that nobody has commented yet. Friendly, helpful and personal. Good selection of yarns and accessories, free parking nearby.

Glad I don't live much closer as I would probably be in there al the time and would not get any spinning done!
The owner has organised Unravel, a celebration of all things knitty. First held last year as a one day event, it was so successful that another has been organised for this year.
