I love this store. It's small but Christine, Monica and Kim are very helpful and friendly. Christine has a wide variety of yarns, due to space she doesn't have every color of every yarn from every company but she'll order you anything. It's near the beach and lots of good places to eat, I reccomend Velvet Yogurt and Avila's El Ranchito. The first Sunday of every month there's an art walk with booths to but things on the next street over.

I love the new location. Ginger, the new owner, and Nancy, one of the staff, were extremely friendly and helpful, but left me alone as soon as I indicated I wanted to look around on my own. They have tons of yarn and they have fiber and drop spindles for spinning. They have a large variety of books, bags, needles, crochet hooks and other accessories. There is a sitting area and 3 class tables, the tables are awesome btw, they decoupaged them themselves. One of the tables will seat at least 16 and the other 2 will seat 8-10 each it looked like. They don't have tons of novelty yarn like at the old location, a huge plus.

As the other reviewers have noted this is a fabulous store. Cathy has a huge selection but it's not cluttered. Cathy is always welcoming and willing to help. I've ordered from her online since I've moved and she's extremely helpful online as well, checking dye lots and sending me descriptions of the color saturations in different skeins of Malabrigo. She has a huge selection of Malabrigo. A must visit if you're anywhere in southern California. Be sure to call ahead and make sure she'll be open, if you have limited hours talk to her, she may be able to work out a special visit for you.
