I haven't been to Jessica's in a while, so things might have changed. The decor and yarn selection is outstanding. And that's about it. The staff hovers over you as if you were going to steal half the store. And when I went, prices weren't even marked! Sorry, I'm not asking you about the price for every skein of yarn you have.
Many of my knitting friends complain about the same issues as well as the wierd hours that don't seem to make it to the website.
I've been to Knitting in Scottsdale exactly twice and never plan on going again. Both times I felt like was intruding on thier little SnB in the center of the store and couldn't get the help I needed. And when I did, it was obvious I was bothering her - and she was the owner!
Maybe this is a store she opened just for her friends?
Love, love, love The Fiber Factory. The staff is wonderful and they have an extensive selection. They are also very knowledgeable (just look at their massive class list!) and always are ready to help. They are truly my favorite LYS.
No, I don't work there. I wish I did! Or maybe not, I wouldn't have a paycheck...I'd owe them money.
Great little yarn store in my favorite place to visit. They are rather new, so the selection is still a bit limited. They do have locally dyed yarn and the staff is wonderful. I visit every time I go to Silver City.
