I found the shop to be friendly. Adele is very knowledgeable and I found her to be friendly. An interesting shop with a lot of hand dyed yarns. Adele is frequently at shows, and I have met her there as well. I NEVER smelled smoke in her shop, nor on the yarns. My husband is very sensitive to smokers and was with me on multiple occasions and nver smelled even the hint of cigarettes.
I LOVE the Shaefer yarns and bought my first ones there. I don't find myself in CV very often, but always stopwhen I am in the area.

I love this store. Even though it is about an hour away from Modesto, I go as often as I can. The store is open, great yarn selection, and the owner is so friendly and will go out of her way to help you. Has a fairly good supply of books as well.
