About Me

My husband and I currently live full time in our motorhome. I like to think of it as being on and extended 'shop hop'. I love to visit yarn stores when we travel about the country. I learned to spin last year so have added fiber shopping to the list.

This is a great shop!! She has tons of Koigu, Manos, Cascade 220, Lamb's pride, addi turbos... sock yarn, Lorna's Laces... I have been to lots of yarn shops in larger cities that have way less yarn. Check it out!!

This is one of my favorite shops in the US. They are friendly, have a good selection and I can and have spent hours in there. I like to stop whenever I can.

I agree with Betsy. Nice staff, great yarn choices for knitting lace or felting or just about anything you can think of. Tricky to find the first time but worth the trouble!

This is a new shop and they are working really hard to build up inventory. They carry lots of choices and have spinning supplies (I learnded to spin there last year)including wheels you can try out. Very helpful and friendly

I was expecting maybe a few skeins of yarn among the antiques. I was pleasantly suprised! There was a nice selection of both and the yarn was varied and good quality. The owner was there and she's great fun to talk to and very enthusiastic about yarn and spinning. She had some handspun wool 'fresh off the sheep'. Parking is sketchy but worth the effort.
