THE best yarn shop in Atlanta. If you only have time to hit one shop, this is the one not to miss. Very, very customer service oriented, beautiful space, knowledgeable staff, gorgeous yarns, awesome owner.

If you are okay with being treated like a criminal when you go there and you don't care about absolutely no customer service, then by all means visit. The shop is cute, the location good and the yarn selection is pretty good, just not a nice place to shop.
Great location, not enough yarn to really get any for a sweater project, etc. Owner nice, just have not maximized their potential. I think their emphasis is on framing and some small bits of needlework. Just smidges of things really.

Great yarn selection and a cozy space full of inspiration. People very nice. Good location. The best of all yarn shops in the Houston area. You won't be disappointed!

Nice folks!!! Focus is on spinning, but they have some beautiful handspun and other fibers that you won't find anywhere else. Great selection of fibers on cones. Prices are very, very fair. Off the path for a visit to Houston, but a wonderful resource for the Bay Area. I'll go back the next time I am in the Bay Area of Houston.
Right by Rice University in a charming location. Other fun shops to see right around them. They carry a small inventory of high quality yarns. Very helpful staff, pretty shop and seems to be very popular with the locals. I will visit again the next time I am in Houston.

Stuffed with yarn--a mix of medium to low end yarns with several quality yarns sprinkled in. You can find something new here. Owner is nice. Shop needs better lighting a little more streamlined/organization. I'd go back again if I had the time while visiting Houston.

Not a great area of town. Good selection of quality yarns-Alchemy, Twisted Sisters, Malabrigo, Artyan, Nashua, etc. Big selection of Berrocco if that is your thang. The front blinds will be closed, but they are open. I'd go back next trip if I had the time after seeing a couple other shops first.

I stopped by this shop in Old Town Littleton recently and enjoyed my visit. I would say that they have a good selection and are very, very friendly. One of the nicer yarn shops I visited while in the area. Cute shops in the area to also peruse while there. I will go back next time I am in Boulder/Denver.
I recently visited this Boulder shop while on a trip and enjoyed it. They have a nice selection of yarn, mostly basics. A bit messy but staff nice enough. A constant stream of customers, so obviously fits its niche. A bit drab, but I would still go back next trip if I needed something. Their books and magazines are very well organized. Good selection of knitting related gift items/accessories.
On a recent trip I made an effort to visit this Old Town Arvada shop while in the Boulder area. I was plesantly surprised by the look and feel of the shop in comparison to other yarn shops in the general area. Based on this I was anticipating seeing a large selection of quality yarns (I had my wallet at the ready!), but was disappointed to find a mediocre offering with limited stock. Coupled with a chilly reception at best, I would be inclined to visit other shops in the area first.
I sought out this shop while on a visit to the Boulder/Denver area. This is the only shop (of the six I visited) that exuded a sense of community and openess. If I had more time to sit and knit on the sofa, I would have been warmly welcomed to do so. The yarn selection was good, and I suspect the friendships made over knitting in this shop the real draw. Visit!

I received the most genuine and warmest welcome I have EVER received in any shop(yarn or other type)in my entire life while visiting this shop on vacation. The shop is gorgeous and set up well and I was welcome to sit and knit to my hearts content. This shop deserves a visit and your business. I would be a "regular" if I lived in Denver.
I visited this shop on a recent vacation and enjoyed a look around. A smallish, well organized selection, and a friendly shop. Good button selection.

I drove up for a visit while vacationing in Boulder. The carriage house location is quite charming. The entry level is a bit unappealing, but the upstairs is lovely. A nice selection of quality yarns and very nice, genuinely friendly staff. I would not hesitate to drive up there again when in the area.
This shop has good inventory spread out amongst many rooms. The staff was helpful but not clingy. While I did not make a purchase on this visit, I would visit again if in the area. I am sure I would use this as a local resource if I lived in the area.

I visit Boulder regularly and am so very pleased to find this shop! Kim, the owner, is super, super nice and she has created a very welcoming, friendly place. I stopped in to knit for a while a couple times on my last trip and had the best time. Each time there were other knitters there as well, all having a nice time. There are several tables and individual, cushy seating as well. I felt the yarn selection was of very high quality. I particularly enjoyed sipping on a cup of tea whilst I knit away. I'm going to be a regular there whenever I am in the area! There is a great fabric shop a couple doors down too if you have a bag you want to line or a tote to sew.
I've been back a couple times on my past few trips to Boulder and I still like this shop. A bit "old school-ish", but that is very reassuring somehow. I always enjoy a good look around and have yet to get out of there with out purchasing something(s). Maggie Casey is a very sweet and unassuming lady.

I enjoyed visiting this shop again on my most recent visit to the Boulder area. It is a bit of a haul from B. but I find it worth it every time! I found a number of good patterns there, one of which I am in the middle of knitting right now(sweater). I also picked up some fabulous Alpaca, for a song, from their sale bin and just have to felt the bag I knit from it a bit before I do the "finishing" stuff. I'll go by again when I am there just after Labor Day. You should try to visit if you are in the area!
I stopped by this shop on a recent visit to the Vail area. The owner was extremely nice. The shop is very neat and well organized. They have a good selection of yarns-many brands I am not familiar with. While I only made a small purchase this trip, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in at this shop next time I am in Frisco. I felt very welcome and would have sat and knit awhile if there had been time for that, but I had to get back on the road.

I recently visited this cozy shop while visiting the Vail area. The owner is high energy and I bet loads of fun too. I enjoyed looking around this jam packed shop. I liked the selection of yarns and there were several nice knitted "demos" to inspire. If I hadn't had such a tight schedule, I would have knit with the locals for a while. The patrons were very friendly and welcoming as well.
