Do not be fooled by the minimalist appearance of this modern, but welcoming corner space. There is much more than meets the eye at Knitwerks and the owner, Cherrl Harmon, is more than happy to give you the guided tour based on your interests and needs. A great source for Dream In Color, Great Adirondacks Yarn Company, interesting slubbed fibers, including flax and rayon blends. Don't have time for the full tour? Don't worry. You'll come back to this jewel on South Wabash.

Hello. Just chiming in to say fab idea. Thanks! If possible, I'd like to make a couple of suggestions 1) augment the LYS info and 2) make it simpler to contact the site owners.
1) Describe how store is organized: by colour, by weight, by manufacturer, or none of the above. It makes a difference in how you approach shopping in the store or if you tackle it at all. As an example, Chicago's Arcadia is organized by colour. Some people adore it, yet others find it hard to navigate.
2) Offer an "In the know" option. For instance, Chicago's Nina will squirrel away super sale yarn for frequent customers. San Francisco's ArtFibers used to have the *best* deals in the back room. Insider tips stuff that you can rotate out as it ages.
3) How about a simple Contact Us or Bug Report or Got An Idea? link...
