They are tirelessly working on the atmosphere (new shelving, purging, reorganizing, etc...) if you haven't been to CY in a bit, it's most likely going to be new to you now! The owner is as nice as can be, and doesn't have a case of the 'snobs' the way some stores can sometimes. :-) love her!

my only complaint on atmosphere is that is can get hot... the fan just didn't do enough for me :-) this place is bright and cheerful and has the most lovely look of any lys in the Bay Area! if you don't sew yet, you will want to after laying hands and eyes on their fabric selection! wow!
