Small shop with knowledgeable owner. Also sells fabrics. No place to sit and knit. Sells back edition magazines.

A great knitting store. Good classes. Great yarn, pattern, supply, book and mag selections. Has monthly Happy Hours with sales + knit&sips. Good community. Enough space to sit and knit anytime.

When I lived in Phila, this was my favorite yarn shop. Amazing window displays. Place to sit and knit. Great needle selection. Beautiful handmade supplies (bags, cases, etc.) Workshops. Good neighborhood for shopping and lunch after you browse the knit store.

I don't know if this shop is still open. The woman who ran this store, Marge, lived upstairs and might have passed away. Marge if still around the store, is an amazing woman who emigrated from a nordic country, and grew up shearing sheep, spinning and knitting. Small, interesting space. Her son might be running the shop now.

I was disappointed by this shop. Seemed to have not a terrible selection, as far as quantity. Carries Louisa Harding yarn. But the taste of the owner and my taste don't converge. You might like it. And there are no other shops in the area, so I'm glad it's there.

Sells NORO. A wide selection of yarns. A lot of sale yarn. Good selection of knitting supplies and mags. Kind of a cramped space. Worth a visit.
