Looking for mid/upper ends yarns -- you have to visit. Lots of Fleece Artist. Staff is friendly and helpful. A busy area so parking can be a problem.

A long-time resident of 4th Avenue - you'll be surprised at the amount of yarn in this tiny store. Not flashy, no place to really sit and look at books. If you don't see what you want (and you probably won't because of the way the yarn is shelved), ask. The staff are very willing to help.

Lots of lovely yarns -- organized by color -- some people may like that, but I find it irritating. Always have great sample garments to drool over.

Hubby and I stopped in Mt Vernon on our way to the Boeing Tour.

Fantastic shop, helpful staff, gorgeous selection. I'll be making a return trip.
