I happened upon this store on a quiet weekday afternoon. After helping me pick out some gorgeous sock yarn, the owners (a married couple) were happy to chat with me and show me some different sock techniques. I don't live in the area, but I'd definitely go back if I was around.

I haven't visited since they moved to their new location - but they always have the friendliest staff. They have a nice selection of yarns and some great classes. Besides knitting and crochet, they offer also classes on jewelry making, sewing, card making.
