I may be easily impressed, but I loved visiting this shop during my Vermont vacation. The shopkeeper was friendly and knowledgable but she let me browse unmolested for as long as I wanted. It is a small store, and really packed full of yarns and books and tools for both knitting and crochet. There was wool as well as silk, linen, bamboo, cotton, and some synthetics. There were a few skeins of locally dyed/painted yarn and there was a variety of yarn weights. Of course I wanted to buy everything, but I managed to restrain myself and take away only two small balls of sock wool. While she rang up my purchase, the shopkeeper showed me an intricate scarf made with the yarn I was buying. There was a small table with chairs in the back, as well as a comfortable seat and TV for one's non-knitting companions, which my husband appreciated.
