Yarniverse has a really good selection but the customer service leaves something to be desired.

I am new and went to Yarniverse ( with yarn bought from their store) and I got the same vibe. Snobby and not particularly friendly to me.

If Yarniverse were the only yarn shop in Memphis I would have to move. The store has no redeeming qualities. They should be renamed the Knit Snits.

All the other reviews are correct, about the rude snobby staff. I just wanted to add, I think their selection is poor as well. What an awful place, thank goodness for Stash. It may be small, but at least you won't leave in tears!

I must NOT agree with any of the reviews. They are indeed quite old (last one Oct. 2009). MY experience at Yarniverse is been wonderful. I started going there this in September 2010 and I really like the store and I also like the staff. I particularly I love miss Anne. She is the most helpful staff around.

I could not believe the horrible reviews that I see for this wonderful store. The staff is not rude, but instead very helpful. If you buy things there, then they will walk you through any project no matter how difficult. Some of you may have run into one staff member on a bad day. You sit down and you are among friends. We have been knitting there for two years! So we started 2009. They have an amazingly beautiful selection of yarn. Check out their website www.yarniverse.com
