Talk about Koigu! And not just the KPPPM! They had the Koigu Kirsti in too! Solids and multis and hoo boy. Koigu heaven. Lots of laceweight in stock as well. A wall full of noro - perfect for picking colors for Lizard Ridge.

Great stock of koigu as well as a nice selection of sock yarn. WALL O NORO - actually wall and a half. The staff was friendly and really wanted to know what we wanted to see in the shop.

Koigu...Koigu...Koigu!! The yarn selection is FABULOUS. The staff is very friendly and go the extra mile to find you what you need. Wish I lived closer...

Great selection ... snobby, rude owner.

One of the most uncomfortable places I have ever been to. Odd owner, weird atmosphere. Huge and beautiful selection of yarn

Great selection of lovely yarns! I really enjoyed the building and the staff was very willing to help!

The several times I've been there I've been completely neglected for more affluent-looking customers. (I shower daily and wear decent clothing, I swear!) The only remedy for it was to make loud statements about how much I wished to spend. How depressing. Even if someone is only in a store to buy a pair of knitting needles, s/he could be a source of valuable repeat business and word-of-mouth advertising.
Beautiful selection of yarn... and the affluent customers seemed to be getting stellar service. So, put on your best threads and go run your fingers through the Koigu! (I think I'll shop elsewhere, where I 'fit in' better.)

Only interest was to "sell" yarn - even when it did not meet my defined needs. Then, they told me I needed more yarn than was actually true. They knew I was a novice and took advantage of it. The "beautiful" yarn did not make up for the negative feelings I now have. I could have bought the same yarn at home with helpful, honest people.

I visited this store on a vacation from Indiana. The store is beautiful, the selection is lovely and the staff and owner... HORRIBLE!!!!!! I received information about sales and promptly filled a basket with the yarn I was told was on sale. Once to the register they did not ring up any of the sale prices which I noticed AFTER my card was put through. I requested sale prices and was told that the yarns I had chosen were not on sale....which was fine...BUT THEY WOULD NOT TAKE ANY OF IT BACK. They said it was posted all over the store NO REFUNDS!!! I spoke with the owner, who was not present and the owner would only give a store credit for the much higher amount of NON SALE yarn. I was completely ripped off. I felt like their business was borderline criminal...bait and switch. Please do your self a favor and shop anywhere but here!!!

Completely agree with the poor reviews! Just returned to this store after refusing to go back for several years due to the rude owner. Still the same, nice selection if you can stand the bizarre atmosphere. I asked where the Malabrigo was located and the staff member guided me over then stood next to me holding a basket waiting for me to make my selection?!! I asked about addi needles and she started selling me on the click set! I felt rushed, over sold and they never left me alone. It was like they didn't trust me or they just want you in and out as fast as possible. I was looking forward to going to a yarn shop, no children for several hours!! I was in and processed out so fast it kinda made my head spin and I did drop a pretty penny in there when all was said and done! There is no warmth here, you will not want to hang out or linger. Please go to another shop that deserves your business, I don't know how this one stays in business.
