Haven't been there for a few years because (1) I moved away from Arlington and (2) the owner used to not allow children in the store, even if they were knitters. Maybe she's changed her policy now, but I stopped shopping there when I realized that was her policy.

This place should be called Yarn Hell. The customer service is nonexistant. I attempted to take lessons at inflated price there, the owner was only concerned with customers coming in the store and yelling at the cat. This is and was the last time I will patronize this store. This store is very close to me, however, I will make a trip to Fort Worth or Wataga before setting foot in this store again.
If the ratings had a negative scale, I would grade this store and the owner as low as possible with the exception of the yarn. The yarn is good, but overprices as everything she does.
Don't bother going to this store, it will be a waste of time and money!

I don't live in Arlington but shop here when I visit. I have had some trouble with service but over all it is ok.

I've been to this store twice and had incredibly different experiences. My first visit was not the best. The owner, Terie, was alright. I felt like I was pressured to buy yarn I really didn't want. After that visit, I told myself I wouldn't go back. When a project called for a certain color yarn, I went to 2 different stores to find what I was looking for without any luck. My last option was to go back and see if they had it. This visit was awesome! I was helped by Melinda who was so sweet and helpful. She showed me several options with different price ranges. She left me to think and browse other yarns for as long as I wanted. Melinda makes me want to come back, and often! :)
It is also really important to note that the owner brings her dog to the store and has a cat that lives there. Both of them are really sweet, but it might be an issue if you or someone you love has allergies. When I went today, I found the cat sleeping on top of yarn.
